Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Vor Labs, Inc. ("Temple", "we", "us") about your use of Temple, on the web at use.templeapp.ai, by text message (Temple Text), or through our API. By using Temple you agree to them. If you use Temple for a company, you agree for that company too.

1. What Temple does

Temple runs research studies for you. It helps you choose a question and an audience, recruits real people who fit, interviews them, mostly by voice, and gives you their transcripts and a write-up. Participants come from Temple's Panel, the group of verified people we recruit from, or, on plans that include it, from your own customers through a link you share.

2. Your account

• You need an account to run a study. If you start by text, your phone number is your account until you add an email.
• Keep your login and your phone secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• You must be at least 18.

3. Your studies

You decide what each study asks. You agree that your studies won't:

• break any law, or ask participants to;
• ask participants for their name, contact details, or other information that identifies them, or try to contact them outside Temple;
• target children, or ask for sensitive information (health, finances, and similar) unless the study genuinely needs it and says so up front;
• harass, deceive, or mislead participants about who is asking or why.

If you share a study link with your own customers, you're responsible for having their permission to contact them.

We may pause or decline a study that doesn't follow these rules.

4. Prices and payment

• You see the price of a study before you pay. You pay it by card, from credits on your account, or from your plan's monthly allowance.
• A price quote holds for 24 hours.
• Interviews that ran are paid for. We don't refund them, except where the law requires it.
• We aim to deliver every interview you bought. How fast people take them can vary, and a small or specific audience may take longer or fill only partly. If a study ends with fewer interviews than you paid for, the unused ones go back to your account as credit for a future study, and we'll tell you.
• Credits you buy don't expire. A plan's monthly allowance is for that month; what you don't use doesn't carry over.

5. Results

• Transcripts are what participants said, as closely as transcription allows.
• Write-ups, summaries, and recommendations are written by AI from those transcripts. They can be wrong or incomplete. Decisions you make with them are yours.
• A small number of interviews is a small sample. Treat it as a signal, not a verdict.

6. Who owns what

• Your content — your questions, study setup, and anything you upload — stays yours. You let us use it to run your studies and to operate Temple.
• Your results — transcripts and write-ups of your studies — are yours to use for your own business. You may not publish a participant's words in a way that identifies them.
• Temple — the software, the Panel, and our brand — stays ours.
• We may use data about how Temple is used, with personal details removed, to improve the service.

7. Temple Text

• When you text Temple, you agree to receive texts back about your studies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop texts, START to resume, and HELP for help.
• Texting a website or a question to Temple can create an account and start a study. Nothing is charged until you confirm a price.

8. Using Temple fairly

Don't misuse Temple: no attempts to break or overload it, reverse-engineer it, get around its limits or prices, resell it without our written agreement, or use it to build a competing panel.

9. Ending

You can stop using Temple and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering Temple. Sections 5, 6, 10, and 11 survive.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Temple is provided as is. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a study will fill, or that results will be accurate or fit for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, and our total liability for anything arising from these terms or from Temple is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. You'll cover us for claims that come from your studies breaking section 3 or the law.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we can't settle by talking it through goes to the state or federal courts in Delaware, and both of us agree to their jurisdiction. Before starting a claim, email founders@templeapp.ai and give us thirty days to work it out with you.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and email creators about significant changes. Using Temple after a change means you accept it.
